“Our French venture began with the supply of canned tuna. By taking a customer-focused approach, we’ve grown to offer a broad range of customer own brand tuna, tomatoes and fruits as well as the launch of our branded Princes range,” MD Mike Easterbrook said. “Our new office will enable us to provide customers with additional sales, marketing and category management expertise.”

The office is Princes’ fifth in Europe. The company, owned by Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corp., is based in Liverpool and has offices in the Netherlands, Italy and Poland.

Easterbrook, who has worked for Princes for over 30 years, became its MD in July amid changes in the structure at the top of the business unit. He took the roles of MD and chief executive commercial. Chief executive Cameron Mackintosh was named deputy MD and chief executive finance.
