REPUBLIC OF IRELAND: Greencore to supply Interbrew with malt
Irish food major Greencore Malting Group has signed a contract to supply Interbrew with malt through a joint venture company with French group Malteurop , said company sources yesterday. The world's second largest brewer, Interbrew recently closed its Belgian malting plants.
Irish food major Greencore Malting Group has signed a contract to supply Interbrew with malt through a joint venture company with French group Malteurop, said company sources yesterday. The world’s second largest brewer, Interbrew recently closed its Belgian malting plants.
Financial terms of the deal have not yet been released, however in a statement David Dilger, CEO of Greencore, commented that the contract “enables us to service almost all of Interbrew’s continental European malt requirements.”
