Quinn and McKey announced yesterday that the deal, which is believed to be worth over IR£9m (US$10m), will see Servequip’s three founder members, John Dunne, John Bow and Jim Malone, remain in the business in their current respective roles of managing director, sales director and operations director.

Quinn told the Belfast Newsletter that Servequip, which employs 50 people, “has both an excellent customer and supplier base with a group turnover of approximately €15m (US$13.24m)”.

“We are very excited at having acquired this business and plan to capitalise on its success by further developing the business both within the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland,” he added.
