A spokesperson for Auchan confirmed that the new hypermarket was officially opened on Friday (11 December).
“We are looking at further potential openings, with the format targeted at cities with populations of between 250,000 and 500,000 people,” the spokesperson said.
The company reportedly plans to open a second Raduga store in Kaluga in the coming months, however the spokesperson was unable to confirm this.
If the test Raduga stores prove successful, Auchan is likely to expand the roll out, the spokesperson confirmed.
