Russian meat processor Cherkizovo has launched a line of chilled semi-processed poultry products under the Petelinka brand.
The range comprises of 17 poultry cuts including; ten cutlets, four “naturally-chopped” joints and three sausage types. The meats have been produced using “natural ingredients and white chicken breast meat”, the firm said today (31 January).
None of the products contain preservatives or non-natural congener.
The range is being produced at Cherkizovo’s Mosselprom’s poultry site in Konstantinovo, and will be distributed throughout Moscow.
“Cherkizovo’s Petelinka brand is already the number one brand in the Moscow market and the launch of our new chicken product range will help reinforce customer’s preferences for our products,” said Cherkizovo’s CEO, Sergey Mikhailov.
