Like-for-like sales at Russian grocery retailer Dixy Group slowed during the third quarter of the year, figures published by the company showed today (21 October).
Dixy’s like-for-like sales rose 3.4% during the three months to 30 September, a slowdown from the 5.1% growth the retailer posted in July for the second quarter.

For the nine months to the end of September, Dixy said its sales grew 17.1% to RUB46.4bn (US$1.07bn). It did not provide a figure for the third quarter.
Sales from its flagship Dixy discount stores showed the strongest gains over the nine-month period, growing 18.1% to RUB39.1bn.
Meanwhile, revenue in its hypermarket format Megamart grew 16% to RUB5.2bn and revenue in its Minimart supermarket stores grew 8.1% to RUB1.6bn.
