X5 Retail Group, Russia’s largest retailer, has appointed Alexander Ermolenko from rival Magnit to oversee its supply chain.

Ermolenko becomes X5’s supply chain director after ten years as deputy CEO for logistics at Magnit. He succeeds Dmitriy Ishevskiy, who is to leave X5 to “pursue other opportunities”, it said today (2 August).
