By focusing on the maximum use of established industries and further developing traditional agriculture businesses, the programme organisers are confident that farmers in the region will be able to produce enough fruit and vegetables to meet domestic demand. They should also achieve 50% of demand in terms of grain, and 30-40% of demand in terms of meat and diary products.
