Russian dairy-to-juice group Wimm-Bill-Dann has elected Sergey Plastinin chairman of the board.
Plastinin, who founded Wimm-Bill-Dann in 1992, served as CEO of the company from the start of the business until 2006. He has since been a board director.
The appointment follows former chairman David Iakobachvili’s decision to step down, although he has retained his seat on the board.
Iakobachvili, who served as Wimm-Bill-Dann chairman since 1992, said he intends to divote more time to projects aimed at the macro development of the Russian dairy sector.
