Delta M general manager Ivana Veselinovic explained yesterday [Sunday] that each Maksi supermarket would cost the firm €500,000 more to build in Slovenia compared to in Serbia.

Construction on the first of the five outlets will begin in Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana in September this year.

Meanwhile, there are also plans to develop the Maksi chain in Serbia, and to increase the number of stores to around 60 from eight by the end of next year.
