Spanish meats processor Argal said Monday (17 July) that 2005 sales rose 8% to EUR137m, boosted by rising demand for its products.

Moreover, the company said it spent EUR16m to expand and streamline its 10,000m2 factory in Badajoz, Spain. Argal said that it will continue to invest to improve its manufacturing technology and launch new products.
The company makes Iberian ham and other processed meats.Argal employs 700 workers and operates three factories in Spain.
