Spanish processed meat firm Campofrio has won a contract to supply meat products to Carrefour stores across Europe.
The firm confirmed to just-food today (16 November) that it has become the sole processed meat supplier for stores in four of Carrefour’s markets – France, Spain, Belgium and Italy.

Campofrio joined Carrefour’s Business Development Programme as part of the deal in the third-quarter, giving it access to “dedicated tools” to grow its brand’s market share in Carrefour stores.
A spokesperson for Campofrio told just-food: “Carrefour has been developing this programme since at least 2005. Campofrio Food Group has joined this year, which is just a simple show of the good relations we keep with the different retailers, such is the case with Carrefour.”
