The reports say Carrefour Espana has recently sold over 50 Champion supermarkets to local discount supermarket chain Dia, which will operate the stores under the Maxi Dia and Dia brand.


Carrefour also has plans to change the name of nearly one hundred Champion supermarkets in Spain, to Carrefour Express, as it plans to develop a hypermarket chain, reported Namnews today.
