Spanish food group Ebro Puleva has said it has appointed Antonio Hernandez Callejas to the newly created post of chief executive officer.

Callejas previously held the position of vice chairman at Ebro Puleva.
The company’s biotechnology unit, Puleva Biotech, said its chairman Javier Tallada had resigned. Puleva Biotech said Gregorio Jimenez Lopez, a new member of the board, would become non-executive chairman.
Ebro Puleva also said Frederic Rostand had resigned from its board and Julio Ariza had resigned from Pueva Biotech’s board, reported Reuters.
