Nestle has completed a EUR6m (US$7.5m) investment in additional manufacturing lines at a condensed milk products factory in Spain.
The additional lines will increase production at the Pontecesures facility by 50%, Nestle said yesterday (29 May).
Around half of the factory’s production is exported to countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. The investment, which allows it to now manufacture condensed milk products in a number of formats, has boosted exports by 12%, Nestle said.
In November, Nestle invested EUR10m in its chocolate facility in La Penilla de Cayón, which followed a CHF64m (US$66.1m) investment to boost production at its Nescafé Dolce Gusto factory in Girona in March last year.
