SOS, the owner of Carbonell and Bertolli olive oil, said today (27 January) that the court had cancelled the EUR2m (US$2.8m) fine issued three years ago.

Spain’s Competition Court had ruled that SOS and eight retailers had fixed the price of two SOS olive oil brands.

However, SOS, which had seen two separate appeals dismissed, has secured the annulment of the fine.
