The committee has named independent director Lennart Bylock as chairman; the committee also consists of Juhani Mäkinen and Christer Wagenius from Cloetta Fazer shareholders Karl Fazer and Malfors Promotor.
Last week, Cloetta Fazer pushed on with its expansion outside chocolate with the acquisition of Finland-based Fennobon, a specialist in sugar-free chewing gum and candies.
Fennebon, whose well-known brands include XyliDent- and Mumin xylitol chewing gum, exports 40% of its gum to countries like Japan, the US and Germany.
