Production in the Swedish food industry could be disrupted as around 2,000 workers in the sector prepare to strike next month, a union official has claimed.
The Swedish Food Workers Union, which has called for the strike, said that workers in the sector were demanding higher pay.

A spokesperson for the union told just-food that the move could cause “significant disruption” to production for companies operating in the country.
The strike is set to start on 7 April, unless a wage deal can be agreed.
