The fish product will be sold in the form of a fish fillet, as well as in ready meals.

The company said the decision to launch the new product came as a result of severely depleted cod stocks in many fishing areas.

The launch is part of Findus’ new fishing policy, which is focused on sustainable fishing, reported the Swedish News Digest.
