Kraft Foods has appointed former Ogilvy & Mather advertising executive Daryl Fielding to become vice president of marketing in Europe.

Fielding will head up Kraft Europe’s “marketing resources organisation”, a spokesperson for the US food giant in Zurich told just-food today (16 December).


The role involves developing “best-in-class advertising” and overseeing marketing planning and buying, the spokesperson said.


Fielding will start the role in January and report to Michael Clarke, president of Kraft’s European operations.


The Milka chocolate maker is looking to focus on ten core brands on the continent, including Oreo cookies and Philadelphia.
