Swiss chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut has reported higher than expected operating earnings for the business year to the end of August 2002.
The company’s earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) were SFr173.2m (US$119.5m) for the year, up 3% from the previous year. Barry Callebaut has said it expects EBIT of over SFr200m in the 2002-03 year, reported Reuters.
