Lucerne-based dairy firm Emmi revealed earlier today [Thursday] that it will buy out Top Cheese Switzerland, a cheese trading company of dairy giant Swiss Dairy Food (SDF) in Zurich, for an undisclosed amount.

According to SDF, Top Cheese Switzerland is expecting to record a turnover in the region of SFr370m (US$217.4m) for 2002.


Meanwhile Emmi, which posted an SFr1.28bn turnover for 2001, is expecting a SFr1.7bn turnover for this year.
