It is Cremo’s milk delivery and logistics division that are likely to be sold. LRG is interested in the sale as it hopes to upgrade its fresh milk supply operations. Cremo’s core businesses, such as butter, cream and cheese production, are not likely to be sold.

SDF has a 32.5% stake in Cremo, whose turnover rose 10% year-on-year to SFr416m (US$278.2m) in 2001 after taking on SDF’s cream production operations, reported Swiss News Digest.
