Dressing and condiments maker Tessemae’s Fresh Food Company wants to expand in the US produce aisle with the launch of new products including salad kits, veggie trays and dips in addition to new salad dressings and organic condiments.

The group said its innovations will focus on “clean” and organic “flavour forward” ingredients as a differentiator.

“People are tired of eating science projects. They want clean, fresh, meal solutions. Tessemae’s is here to enable that clean eating for everyone, everywhere,” said Greg Vetter, CEO of Tessemae’s.

“The most important thing to us is how a product tastes, and how it makes us feel. It all connects back to our mission of simplifying food to amplify life. That’s what drives our innovation,” Kristen Dittami, EVP of research and development, added.

The salad kit is available in four flavour varieties: spinach bacon ranch, power kale caesar, sweet kale crunch, and sesame ginger greens. Further product launch details are pending.
