The move will allow the company to expand its offering with processed chicken products, and the plant will produce 9,070 tonnes of processed chicken meat a year for sale in Krabi and other nearby provinces.


The company told the Thai News Service that this foray into value-added products could be just the start of plans that could see Siam Chicken Products establish its own grilled chicken or fried chicken restaurant franchise.
