Carrefour hopes to double the number of outlets it operates in Turkey by 2010, the French retail giant told just-food today (28 May).
“Our main objective in Turkey is to double the number of Carrefour hypermarkets and of Carrefour Express supermarkets before 2010,” a spokesperson said.
Carrefour currently operates 630 hypermarkets, supermarkets and hard-discount stores in Turkey.
“Turkey is one of the key markets where the Carrefour group intends to occupy a leader position thanks to a policy of low price and a multiformat portfolio,” the spokesperson added.
