UK farmer co-op ANM Group has confirmed it has received interest from “more than one party” in its Scotch Premier Meat and Yorkshire Premier Meat processing assets.

A spokesperson for ANM said suitors had visited the sites, although he declined to comment on the identity of the potential bidders “on business grounds”.

“Interested parties have been in to look at the sites. We are awaiting developments and that is all we can say at present,” he said.

ANM said last month it wanted to sell Scotch Premier Meat and Yorkshire Premier Meat to “refocus on its traditional core business” of auction and valuation services, including its property portfolio.
