Chairman Frank Brake said the group was looking to add to the three French businesses it bought for £16m last year. Brake Bros currently holds fourth position in France with distribution covering 70% of the population.


Brake said acquisitions would probably be similar in size to those made last year, and that the group was ready to increase borrowing to pay for them. Brake supply food to pubs, clubs and hotels.
