Cadbury Schweppes has announced the appointment to its board of Ellen Marram as a non-executive director. She will join the board on 1 June.

Marram is president of business advisory company The Barnegat Group, which she established in 2006. She currently serves on the boards of the Ford, the New York Times and Eli Lilly, as well as on the boards of a number of private companies and not-for-profit organisations.
Commenting on the appointment, Sir John Sunderland, Cadbury chairman, said: “I am delighted that Ellen is joining our board. Her extensive experience from her highly successful career in the food and beverages industry and the broader consumer sector will be of great benefit to Cadbury Schweppes.”
