Baroness Wilcox had served on the board since 1997.
Sir John Sunderland, chairman, said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Baroness Wilcox for her dedicated service and commitment to Cadbury Schweppes over nearly 10 years. Her contribution has been much valued, notably in her chairmanship of the board corporate and social responsibility committee, where she has played a key role in formulating our strategy and approach.”
