The agreement will support the national Under 21 team in its preparations and participation in the World Youth Netball Championships, which take place in Florida, including involvement at this 2005’s Super Cup competition as well as the forthcoming Intercounty Tournament.
“California prunes are ideal snack foods for sportspeople, particularly women,” said Esther Rollason, European marketing director of the California Prune Board, “Thanks to their exceptionally high levels of antioxidants, which can help prevent osteoporosis, a potentially crippling disease which can affect those with active lifestyles. Netball is the perfect partner to help us communicate this vital health message, and we are confident that we can help the England U21 side reach Florida in peak condition to challenge for the World title.”
