The company said that this latest pâté was developed in response to the demand for its three existing organic pâtés, themselves launched to complement the existing successful range of conventional pâtés.


“We know that our organic pâtés produce healthy sales growth and this new variety is designed to capitalise on the continuing consumer interest in Moroccan cookery,” explains deputy MD Andy Long.


In this new pâté chickpeas, a favourite ingredient of Mediterranean and Moorish cooking, are combined with natural yoghurt and tomato purée and enhanced with coriander, cumin, chilli, paprika and cinnamon, then slightly sweetened with apricot.
