UK: Cereal Innovations buys Billington’s Cereal Research and Development
UK cereal company Billington’s Cereal Research and Development (BCRD) has been acquired in a management buyout by Cereal Innovations. Cereal Innovations has bought the assets of BCRD, which specialises in sweet and savoury clusters and biscuit crumbles. BCRD’s products are supplied to cereal, yoghurt, dessert and snack manufacturers.

The buyout was led by chief executive Mark Bottjer, with support from chairman Ralph Richard and current BCRD managing director Alan Hayes.
