Oades, who most recently led the UK & Ireland contract logistics business of rival logistics firm Exel, was head of Salvesen’s food transport operations from 1993 to 1996, reported The Telegraph.
Oades replaces Edward Roderick, who was dismissed by Salvesen in May this year.
