Movement restrictions have been lifted on about 150 pig farms in East Anglia from 4.00pm today.

A revised Infected Area has been declared around the last case of classical swine fever confirmed on 3rd November (SF 2000/16). This reduces the previous Infected Area on the Norfolk/Suffolk border and releases about some 36,000 pigs on 150 farms from movement restrictions. These restrictions have been in place since the middle of August.
