Dairy Crest has launched what it claims is the first seeded spread in the UK.
The firm is hoping to attract new shoppers to the brand through the launch of Clover Seedburst, appealing to more health-focused consumers, it said.
The product, which contains a mix of seven seeds and whole grains, and 70% less saturated fat than butter, is entering relatively untapped niche of the UK butters and spreads market.
