UK: DEFRA appoints advisory committee on consumer products and environment
Seven new members have been appointed to the UK's Advisory Committee on Consumer Products and the Environment (ACCPE) by Environment Minister Michael Meacher. They are Mrs Alison Austin, Dr Frans Berkhout, Mrs Jane Bickerstaffe, Mr Pooran Desai, Dr Charlotte Grezo, Dr Phil Stubbs and Ms Fiona Weir.

They are Mrs Alison Austin, Dr Frans Berkhout, Mrs Jane Bickerstaffe, Mr Pooran Desai, Dr Charlotte Grezo, Dr Phil Stubbs and Ms Fiona Weir.
Appointments to the Committee are made jointly with the Scottish Executive. All the appointments are for three years (which started on 31 January), are unpaid, and made in a personal capacity.
