The range will all labelled as the “Big Sharing Pack” and will available in all major UK retailers.

Diamond said it aims to “boost category sales even further” with the introduction of the range.

A spokesperson said: “The bigger size appeals to consumers as there are more Pringles to share in every can”. The spokesperson added that she was unable to comment on RRP of the product but this would depend on “discussions with the retailer”.

Diamond said sharing formats are the fastest growing sector in value and volume terms, with sales up 11% year-on-year.

The snacks manufacturer also said UK-specific television advertising supporting the range will run until the end of October to build consumer awareness and in-store presence.

Separately, Christmas Turkey and Sausage & Crispy Bacon will be added to the Pringles range for the festive period, which generates 40% of the brand’s annual sales in the UK.

Limited-edition can artwork will also be launched across the Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Salt & Vinegar and Cheese & Onion SKUs.
