The UK organic and natural food specialist Lyme Regis Foods is teaming up with Disney in the launch of its latest range of fruit bars for children.

Disney has given Lyme Regis the licence to produce its latest range of children’s chewy fruit bars featuring Disney characters.
The Incredibles will feature on the Blackcurrant flavour, Winnie the Pooh and other characters from the AA Milne stories will appear on the apple bar, while Disney Princesses, such as Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel, are included on the Strawberry variety.
Lyme Regis Foods says the bars will be competitively priced, retailing at GBP1.85 (US$3.49) for a five-pack of 20g bars, and are ideal for inclusion in a packed lunch for school, picnics or long journeys. Each box also includes an activity for children involving the characters. The bars are made with 75% fruit, contain 100% natural ingredients, and have no artificial colourings, preservatives or flavourings.
“We are delighted that Disney chose Lyme Regis Foods to help develop its ‘better for you foods’ range,” says Lyme Regis Foods sales and marketing manager Graeme Mulheron. “Now shopping for children’s snacks needn’t be a clash of wills. Children can get their favourite Disney character on a snack whilst parents have the quality assurance of no added salt, no added sugar, no preservatives, additives or colourings.”
