UK fastfood firm Domino’s Pizza has reported a like-for-like sales increase of 4.7% for the five weeks to 28 December 2003.
Average weekly unit sales for the company’s stores hit an all-time record in the penultimate week of the financial year to 28 December 2003, the pizza delivery company said.

The company also announced that its target to open 50 new stores in a single year was achieved in 2003, bringing the year-end store count to 318. This increased rate of expansion compares with 34 store openings in 2002 and 24 in 2001.
