Duchy Originals, the organic food range owned by Prince Charles, made £1m (US1.8m) in profit last year, all of which goes to charity, according to the London Evening Standard newspaper.

The figure came from the Prince’s annual review, which showed a rise in his total profits, mainly from his Duchy of Cornwall estate, of 11% to £13m.
Charles’s annual review shows his office is the equivalent of a mid-sized company with 111 staff, of whom nearly 30 work for him personally, such as chefs, valets and gardeners, the paper said.
The rise in income means that his tax and ‘personal expenditure bill’ is up to more than £5m. The Prince raised £109m for his 16 main charities, including the Prince’s Trust.
