Clive Miquel will take the Lees’ helm just weeks after his 77-year-old father, executive chairman Raymond Miquel, unexpectedly quit the business.
Lees, which yesterday revealed that its first-half profits before tax were up by almost 50%, also announced that former Robert Wiseman Dairies director Chris Greig would take the role of chairman.
Greig,75, was also previously non-executive chairman of William Grant and Sons, and managing director of Invergordon Group.
