UK frozen food retailer Farmfoods saw its net profit grow by 40% to GBP8.9m (US$14.1m) for 2009 as consumers traded down through the recession.
According to filings with Companies House, for the year ended 31 December, the company’s sales grew GBP45m to GBP468.9m, while pre-tax profit grew to GBP13.1m from GBP9.2m.
