A fire that broke out in one of Adams Foods warehouses at its Wincanton site is not expected to affect the company’s supply chain.

The fire, which started at around 10:15pm yesterday (21 September) evening in an isolated warehouse at the company’s Wincanton site, caused no damage to the main facility. No was one hurt in the fire, the company added.

“The warehouse affected was an isolated one and we would hope that the effect on production will be minimal,” said Ian Toal, Adams Foods chief executive officer.

We are not expecting our supply chain to be affected and we anticipate that the main facility will be fully up and running in the next 24-48 hours.”
He added that a full investigation will take place to assess the cause of the fire.
