The smoothies will be launched in two flavours, pineapple & coconut and orange & mango, while the two varieties of porridge will consist of superfruits and fig & honey.

A spokesperson for First Milk told just-food the group has already secured listings with Tesco with “more news on listings” expected “soon”.

CNP marketing director David Young said that the launch aimed to capitalise on the growing demand for high-protein, on-the-go breakfast options.

“This range delivers against almost every current nutrition and health trend and credibly moves CNP from sports nutrition into lifestyle nutrition,” he commented.
