French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin has said he will meet employee delegations from Groupe Danone’s threatened biscuit division and from Marks & Spencer today to discuss both plans by both groups to abandon the French market.
 
“The two delegations have agreed to meet. The government is fulfilling its commitment to remain on the side of the employees,” he said.
