Reckitt Benckiser has expanded its French’s product range in the UK to include a line of sauces, relishes and dressings.

The range, which comprises two BBQ sauces, two relishes, three dressings and a New York Steakhouse Sauce will be available at Waitrose and Sainsbury’s from mid-May with RRPs of GBP1.99 (US$3.16) to GBP2.49.

Variants include: Classic BBQ Sauce 250g, Blue Cheese Dressing 270g and Jalapeño Tomato Relish 320g.

“When we put French’s in front of UK consumers the unanimous feedback is that they associate the brand with BBQ. As one of the most popular meal occasions in Britain it’s important that French’s reacts to demand and champions this category with an NPD line up that suits British consumers,” said French’s senior brand manager Amy Woodbridge.

“Whilst the new line-up will initially target consumers around BBQ season we also see a great opportunity in extending BBQ into in-home grilling,” she added.
