General Mills is to extend its range of Häagen-Dazs ice creams on sale in the UK this winter with the launch of a caramel biscuit and cream variant.
The product will go on sale later this month and will be available for just six months.
General Mills insisted that winter is a “key selling period” for luxury ice cream. Andy Foweather, sales director for General Mills UK, said: “Whilst retailers will experience a significant downturn in trade for impulse hand-held ice cream during the winter months, it remains a key selling period for luxury ice cream.”
Häagen-Dazs Caramel Biscuit & Cream joins the brand’s six-strong winter range in the UK, which also includes a Baileys variant.
