Brownie Mix, the latest product to join Betty Crocker ‘just-add-water’ pouch format line-up, is expected to generate incremental sales for the brand, General Mills said.


“For anyone who doesn’t have the time or skill necessary to bake from scratch; the ‘just-add-water’ pouch format allows them to deliver delicious home baking results easily. The Betty Crocker brand is renowned for its product quality and convenience – and the new pouch delivers on both those fronts,” said Ed Culf, marketing director, General Mills UK.


The launch will be backed by the brands GBP1m marketing support package, spearheaded by national TV advertising campaign.


Further bespoke support for the Betty Crocker ‘just-add-water’ range, including the new Brownie Mix, will include consumer adverts in retailer magazines in April and May.
