Soup manufacturer Heinz has launched a range of branded croutons in the UK.

Designed as an accompaniment to soup, Heinz says the croutons have an “extra crunchier texture”. The range will be manufactured, marketed and sold under license by Chaucer Foods, a producer of crouton and bread-related products.

The range will consist of four variants: Mixed Herb, Cracked Black, Tangy Chilli, and Multigrain.

The croutons have an RRP of GBP0.40 (US$0.63) for a 40g bag.
